Gluten, Performance, 30min

Česká Centra, Paris, October 2020

They say it’s collapsing, and my belly hurt. It’s all that wheat we eat. Wheat we - eat. Did you know the capitalist state was built on the intensive monoculture production of wheat? Wheat, they can control, wheat, they can count. Wheat grows on normalised lands, not too much humidity, not to much heat. Normal thing nothing. Makes them rich. What are we left with? Post-capitalist global middle class massive indigestion. The world is bright with bread. But your belly hurts and you are not hungry. Heat me with your fire, I heal you with my hands.
