Le portique a été réalisé dans le cadre d'un programme de résidence financé par le prix Guillaume Dethan Dream Big and Grow Fast, 2022, au 6bis Fabrik, fabrique culturelle à Vitry-sur-Seine.
L'installation accompagne la performance Les trois vielles. Inspiré des Torii japonais, placés à l’entrée des sanctuaires Shinto pour marquer le passage à un espace dédié aux morts et aux esprits, le portique des trois vielles a été fabriqué à partir de deux fûts de pin et d'un linteau en pierre calcaire récupérés en Ile-de-France. Le bois a été gravé et brûlé au chalumeau. Les céramique et l'objet en béton ont été fabriqué à POUSH, ils accompagnent le portique, chargés des intentions de la performance : ouvrir puis refermer la porte symbolique qui sépare l'artiste de ses grand-mères décédées.

The portal was created as part of a residency program funded by the Prix Guillaume Dethan at 6bis Fabrik, a cultural center in Vitry-sur-Seine.
The installation accompanies the performance Les trois vielles. Inspired by the Japanese Torii, placed at the entrance to Shinto shrines to mark the passage to a space dedicated to the dead and the spirits, the portico of the three vielles was made from two pine trunks and a limestone lintel salvaged from the Ile-de-France region. The wood was engraved and torch-burned. The ceramics and concrete object were made at POUSH, and accompany the portico, charged with the intentions of the performance: to open and close the symbolic door separating the artist from her deceased grandmothers.
